You may remember our daughter Elizabeth went to Durban, South Africa with the Transform Team of Tearfund last year. Many of you heard Elizabeth's powerful testimony when she returned - not least how much her trip transformed her. I suggested to Elizabeth that she should pass on the baton to someone else so that they too can be transformed and guess what - she has passed it onto me. This is quite a challenge for me, particularly as Harry does not feel called to go. I shall be going on 20th July and have never done anything like this on my own before. I would really value your prayers.

I would also really appreciate any help you can give me in raising the GBP1,500 I need to send Tearfund by the third week of June. Our son-in-law Steve, had his legs waxed a couple of weeks ago and Victoria's school are having a dress down day this week. My work colleagues organised a quiz night a few weeks ago, and a cake sale. I have just over £400 left to raise in the next couple of weeks

If the trip goes well, I would really like to take a team out with me next year. I think this is a really amazing opportunity for anyone aged over 16. There is no upper age limit. If you think you might be interesting, please let me know.
